Flow into June!
It was so popular the first time around….we thought we’d go again! Starting May 18th
1. Intro to Skateboarding
Ever wanted to learn how to ride a skateboard to get around? Now is the time! You don’t have to be a kid or do crazy stunts to experience the flow of cruising down the sidewalk on a skateboard. If you practice yoga you’ve already got a head start with balance and flexibility. Intro to Skateboarding is a 4-week series being taught by veteran skateboarder and fellow yoga practitioner Kevin Banahan. He will assume no prior experience and cover fundamentals such as stance, pushing, turning and stopping. Specifically designed to teach adult beginners, this class will show you how to stand on the board, ride, navigate around the cracks, curbs and pedestrians of Brooklyn sidewalks. He will offer skateboards for purchase or rental to class participants.
To reserve your spot and request equipment please RSVP with Kevin at kbanahan@gmail.com (or if you have any other questions). Enrollment is limited so sign up today!
